As in the past, candidates running under the Republican and Democrat banners have received overwhelming media attention compared to candidates who have opted out of the two-party system. Do modern day Presidential debates add any real substance?

Freedom From The Press – Media Corruption & Government Fraud – Exposed

After a little research, it’s easy to draw the conclusion that the Presidential elections have been nothing short of a dog-and-pony show ever since the Commission on Presidential Debates was established.

Please review http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4052162 paying close attention to items 1, 2, 5 & 10.

In addition to the National Public Radio link, I found the information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commission_on_Presidential_Debates very alarming.

Why our ‘not-so-free’ press doesn’t delve deep within this important issue isn’t really a complete mystery. Simply follow the flow of special interests money into the cofers of our mainstream U.S. media. As I, you’ll quickly come to the conclusion that the integrity of our political process of open public debates and, fair elections at every level of US government has been severely compromised. Perhaps this fact alone is why millions of Americans don’t vote?

My next task is to identify who the corporate sponsors are (the COPD is sponsored) and organize a worldwide boycott of their products. In addition, I’d like to see those responsible (members of COPD), both past and present, investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice on charges of political treason.

Your comments, both for or against are welcome here. As in other posts to this blog, I especially welcome comments by members and retired members of the mainstream U.S. media.

Fair and balanced? We report, you decide? Yah, right… Perhaps ‘We the People’ should invite foreign (retired) leaders into America to monitor our electoral process?
