This page is dedicated to all Americans who believe as I that neither the two-party system or the mainstream press represent the best interests of the American people or our great nation. Over the last 13 years, the U.S. press (with the exception of C-SPAN in 2011/see corrections below) and our bi-partisan government have done all they could to destroy the credibility of this Independent political force. The tireless effort of many U.S. citizens throughout America have worked to keep the message of the reform movement alive. I personally invite all of you to read and learn more about the Reform movement and their ideas to save America from powerful domestic and foreign agents of influence.

Where we’ve been:

A historical look back at the Reform Party from a Pacific Northwest perspective. The Reform Party – What Went Wrong And Why (part 1) and The Reform Party – What Went Wrong And Why (part 2).

Where we’re headed. The future of RPUSA is 100% dependent on you. Please, do your homework by reading the information here and on other websites. After you’ve digested all of the information you can find about the Reform movement, ask yourself this question; Does U.S. government at every level work in the best interests of all Americans? And, Is the mainstream press working for or against the political will of all Americans? I believe the American mainstream press is greed driven when it comes to covering American politics.

I further believe that U.S. Elections are a gigantic cash cow for television broadcast companies.

“Change We Can Believe In” was a great slogan. However, change will never come without “Real Reform” and, real reform will never take place unless Independent voters unite as one for the common good of the United States of America.

Give this movement whatever name you want. I’m not interested in some pissing match with the powers that be for the ‘official use’ of the Reform Party name. Without the active work of you and I the name ‘reform party’ is meaningless.

Let us unite as one. Right now, not tomorrow or the day after. Become an active player in this historic Independent effort.

Since 1996, the Reform Party movement has been on life support. This website isn’t worried about who’s feathers become ruffled on Wall or K-Streets. We’re equally not worried about who becomes prosecuted and held accountable for control/accounting fraud that created our nations economic meltdown. In closing, I personally don’t care if any or all mainstream press organizations fail economically, they’ve certainly already failed when it comes to objective coverage in all American elections.

C-SPAN broadcast, The Contenders, Ross Perot, Fall of 2011 –Thank you Susan Swain and C-SPAN for producing and televising the political activities of H. Ross Perot. Even with Perot’s many shortcomings, I’ll always have love and admiration to Mr. Perot for waking myself up to what’s still wrong with American government. As for this broadcast, here’s the corrections I’d like to offer…

1) Douglas Brinkley, Professor at Rice University stated, “Perot believed in never leaving anybody behind, Perot believed in loyalty to those who were loyal to him.”  If this were true, why did Perot choose to not campaign for his co-reform party candidates in 1998 and beyond? Fact, In 1998 and beyond, Perot wasn’t loyal to those who put Perot on the ballot in all 50 states in 1992 and 1996… In 1992 Perot said, “I want to see some sweat” when asked by Larry King if he’d run for President. What Perot meant was he wanted a grassroots effort to place his name on the ballot in all 50 states by the many activists who supported government reform. In 1998 and beyond, some of these very supporters were running for public office and expected Perot to return the favor.

“In 1998, Perot was nowhere and many Reform candidates across America felt abandoned by little, if any, National Reform Party support or leadership…”  –Steven Thompson, 1998

2) Carolyn Barta, Professor of Journalism at SMU stated, “In 2000 the Reform Party presidential candidate had ballot status in all 50 states.” This statement isn’t correct. In 1998 the Reform Party of Washington State was required to run a statewide candidate who would then earn 5% of the general election vote in order to maintain major party ballot status for 2000. This feat would of been easily accomplished had Ross Perot provided the same level of effort he provided to RNC candidates in 2004 (Perot gave stump speeches in multiple states supporting candidates who’d signed on to Newt Gingrich’s Republican Contract With America)…

3) Carolyn Barta wins the FFTP friendship award for making this, the most important statement of the two-hour must-see C-SPAN program about H. Ross Perot. She said, “Since 1992, The media has become more dominate and powerful.” This statement was in response to the fact that Independent or third-party candidates may never be able to obtain the level of attention that Ross Perot received in 1992… In 2008, Senators Obama and McCain raised and spent almost two billion dollars in their campaigns to become President… Not since 1992 have more than two candidates participated in any Presidential general election debate. Why? Because both the RNC and DNC wanted to create a future climate that would exclude outside competition…
