What do online neo-con and ultra-lib web editors fear most? Independent populists who speak truth-to-power and call them on their propaganda, on their turf.
Two posts have recently appeared on politicalwire.com that state, ”Obama Not Losing Independents” while the other say’s, “Where Obama is Losing Support.” On the first post, I offered my independent point of view in a very informative professional manner. Since Freedom From The Press carries politicalwire.com’s RSS feed in our sidebar, I couldn’t help but notice the second post just a few minutes ago.
For whatever unexplained reason, the editor at politicalwire.com has decided to censor these remarks.
Charles, that’s pure propaganda and you know it. Independents are angry about the bailouts and the fact that elitist haven’t been prosecuted in mass. The problem? Where do we turn? The RNC is no better than the DNC… Independents are treated like ping pong balls and the MSM plays right along. Shame on you!
The MSM needs to stop its practice of manipulating elections. Candidates shouldn’t need to raise millions or billions of dollars to get elected. And, if journalist like Charles want to do America a favor start reporting on where all the campaign money goes, meaning, into who’s hands?

The second comment is as follows. Only time will tell if politicalwire.com chooses to censor it as well.
In response to:
November 24, 2009 | “Where Obama is Losing Support”
Public Policy Polling agrees that President Obama is not losing support among independents.
“On our national survey in June Obama had an 82% approval rating with Democrats. Now it’s 83%. He had a 46% approval rating with independents. Now it’s 47%. No real change on either of those fronts. But with Republicans he’s dropped from an 18% mark to just 10%. That shift is what put his approval rating below 50% — he’s gone from a small amount of crossover support to a very small amount of crossover supports.”
And here’s my posted comment:
By ALEX ISENSTADT | 11/18/09 12:02 AM EST | http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1109/29646… “Mounting evidence that independent voters have soured on the Democrats is prompting a debate among party officials about what rhetorical and substantive changes are needed to halt the damage.”
This same article on this very same site states, “Obama’s own popularity among independents has fallen significantly, too. A CBS News poll Tuesday showed the president’s approval rating among unaligned voters falling to 45 percent — down from 63 percent in April.” and,
“We withdrew from the accounts of voters and now we need to pay them back,†said Nathan Daschle, executive director of the Democratic Governors Association. “We are having these conversations right now about what independents need to see and hear.†and,
Pat Waak, the chairwoman of the Colorado Democratic Party, said the party had so far failed to convince independent voters of the steps it had taken to improve the economy.
“I think the economy is at the base of the tension,†she said. “Quite frankly, we’ve got to do a better job of messaging. There’s a lot of work to be done to get independents more comfortable with what we’re doing.â€
So, who are we to believe? Could the problem with Independents be “messaging.” You mean like, “Change We Can Believe In.” or, GOP 1994, “The Contract For America?”
Is that what Pat Waak from the Colorado DNC means when she addresses “messaging”?
Have any of you ever lived in Missouri? The ‘show me’ state.
700 billion dollar bailouts for crooks in NYC and Wall Street shows Independents what? It shows this (I) that political corruption is alive and well in the Obama White House. And what about fixing NAFTA? Didn’t I hear the DNC’s #1 change agent bloviating about fixing NAFTA during last years electoral auction?
Bill Clinton, George Bush and now Barack Obama are doing nothing but pandering to the elite who were in favor of NAFTA, the trading of liars loans, bailouts/accounting fraud, etc..
Political Wire reminds me of CNN, FOX, MSNBC, PBS, CBS, ABC, NBC, and many more. What do these outlets do? They support the status quo propaganda machine that has created the political mess America is currently in. Why? Are we not capable enough to begin the process of fixing our problems? Do any of you really believe that more of the same (electoral auctions) will somehow put people back to work while strengthening our monetary system and economy?
The Declaration of Independence provides us with the power and ability to fix a broken and corrupt government whenever deemed necessary. When will any of you become responsible American citizens and demand a constitutional convention to address political corruption and media reform?
If this site had any balls it would publish some of the articles found at Freedom From The Press.

I’ll keep a close eye to see if the comment above is also pulled from the ‘obviously biased’ and ‘pro-propaganda’ politicalwire.com.
In addition, like with censored letters to the editor, Freedom From The Press will invite you the readers to send us comments you post on political websites that become censored by unaccountable and unethical political website editors.
